Cisco SPA525G (5 line IP phone)

Cisco SPA525G:





STEP 1

You must first determine the IP address of your device.

To do this, press the Paper "button" followed by the number 9. This will take you into the network settings. Option 2 on the display will show you the phone's current IP address.

STEP 2
Go to any browser equipped computer on your network and enter the address: http://<IP ADDRESS>/
(where <IP ADDRESS> is replaced by the address that was given to you in STEP 1).

STEP 3
Click on the "Admin Login" button near the top right side of the screen, then click on the "Ext 1" tab.

STEP 4

You need to modify from the factory default. Settings are listed here:

Proxy: sip.nettalk.com
Display Name: Enter your full name, User ID or leave blank
User ID: Account Number provided on CONNECT
Password: Account SIP Password provided on CONNECT
Register Expires: 300
Preferred Codec: G711 or G729 will work

STEP 5

Submit All Changes. If the second extension is needed (if you have a secondary active NT Connect account), click on Ext2 and repeat Step 4. If Ext2 does not work please try using SIP Port 5085 or 70
