Provisioning SIP Phone Equipment

SIP Phone Provisioning will configure your phone with the VoIP SIP username and password credentials of an extension and allow you to make and receive calls using the extension on the phone.

Where do I find my extension's configuration credentials?

Sign in to the PBX Configuration Portal at https://account.ntconnect.com/site/login

Select the PBX Account you want to configure.

Click on Extensions.

Find the extension you want to provision and click the blue "Credentials" button that has the key icon to see the credentials page.

You will find the credentials of your extension on this page.

Domain
Proxy
SIP Username
SIP password

You have two ways you can provision your phone:

Automatic Configuration (Some GrandStream phones only!)
Manual Configuration

Automatic Configuration

*Automatic configuration and provisioning only works with the Grandstream GRP2612W Phone, sold by NT Connect.
Click on the "Auto-Configuration" button

Click on the "Update MAC Address" button

Enter the MAC address of your GrandStream GRP2612W phone. You can find the MAC address underneath your phone equipment.

Click the "Save" button to update configuration of the extension.

Power cycle your GrandStream GRP2612W phone. (Power cycling your phone means you will unplug your phone from the wall outlet, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in.)

Your GrandStream GRP2612W phone will automatically provision with the extension credentials as it powers back on.

Manual Configuration

Refer to your SIP phone's instruction manual to learn how to enter the VoIP SIP credentials.

Enter the Domain, Proxy, SIP Username, and SIP password, that are displayed on the credentials page, into your SIP phone and save your settings.

You may need to power cycle your phone. (Power cycling your phone means you will unplug your phone from the wall outlet, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in.)

Your SIP phone will automatically provision with the extension credentials as it powers back on.
